Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Haroldo Urti kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Vichadero booed when Peñarol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Melendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vichadero's Stanislao Ubiña couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Peñarol. After 13 played minutes Vichadero got a freekick which was hit by Quin Quintairos. Manuel Salazano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haroldo Urti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velasco Pilas having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peñarol's goalkeeper Espiridion Bullon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brais Artadi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Velasco Pilas having to make a save. In the 22nd match minute, Vichadero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camerino Urreta to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Haroldo Urti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peñarol's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Urti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Velasco Pilas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haroldo Urti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the game, one of Vichadero:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Foro Botas fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vichadero's protests and gave Foro Botas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Peñarol booed when Vichadero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Foro Botas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Velasco Pilas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Salazano in the 32nd minute of the match. Brais Artadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baiona Pages in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Espiridion Bullon saved Peñarol from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Haroldo Urti fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Velasco Pilas, passed just outside the right post. In the 42nd minute, Camerino Urreta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Peñarol's Haroldo Urti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Velasco Pilas. Velasco Pilas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Carmelo Prego made the kick off in the second half. Peñarol's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yesayas Romansyah in the 60th minute. Manuel Salazano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Velasco Pilas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Manuel Salazano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Baiona Pages fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vichadero's protests and gave Baiona Pages a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Baiona Pages hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Peñarol booed when Vichadero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Prego didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanislao Ubiña kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Camerino Urreta's late challenge caught a Peñarol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camerino Urreta helped the player get up and apologised. Haroldo Urti might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Velasco Pilas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haroldo Urti ran back to his position shaking his head. Velasco Pilas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Salazano in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Brais Artadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velasco Pilas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Peñarol booed when Vichadero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baiona Pages didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peñarol had played much better football throughout.
