An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislav Patka in the 16th minute of play forced Pintado AFC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Veragua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Pintado AFC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Veragua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Temel Ülgener. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The tension between the Boston River Futbol Club and the Pintado AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
