Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Antonio Isassi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Cortazar in the 13th minute of play forced Marico's goalkeeper Andrés Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Francisco Antonio Isassi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Cristóbal Dundan was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the game, Jacob Ochagavia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hurilihue AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marico the free kick. After 23 played minutes Hurilihue AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Ochagavia. A long shot from Alex Zunino in the 24th minute of play was well struck, but Juan Cristóbal Dundan made a really good save at the right post. After a rather tough play, Marico's Isaiás Urtubia got a free kick in the 28th minute. Jacob Ochagavia got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jacob Ochagavia kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Hurilihue AFC's Sandro Paetz got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th match minute, Hurilihue AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Cortazar to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Alex Zunino from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Juan Cristóbal Dundan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Juan Cristóbal Dundan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Antonio Isassi's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Sandro Paetz made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hurilihue AFC's goalkeeper Juan Cristóbal Dundan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ramón Olmos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hurilihue AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramón Olmos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrés Campos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute, Francisco Antonio Isassi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 74th minute, Sandro Paetz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Antonio Isassi in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Cristóbal Dundan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sandro Paetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Andrés Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Francisco Antonio Isassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierre Echaiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Pierre Echaiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Cristóbal Dundan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Diego Cortazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hurilihue AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
