Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hurilihue AFC's Diego Cortazar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Victor Burgos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Cristóbal Dundan was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. The supporters of Hurilihue AFC booed when Choroico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro José Foster didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Cortazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alirio Farias hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Niceto Quilempan had great luck who in the 19thth minute grab hold of the ball when Diego Cortazar from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Moncho Lois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niceto Quilempan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Cortazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Victor Burgos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Cristóbal Dundan having to interfere. If Sandro Paetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40thth minute of the game Diego Cortazar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Choroico AFC's Niceto Quilempan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Burgos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Juan Cristóbal Dundan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moncho Lois to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan Cristóbal Dundan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moncho Lois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hurilihue AFC's Diego Cortazar got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Moncho Lois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 minutes, Jacob Ochagavia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hurilihue AFC and the Choroico AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hurilihue AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jacob Ochagavia hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Hurilihue AFC's goalkeeper Juan Cristóbal Dundan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Burgos. Victor Burgos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Sandro Paetz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hurilihue AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Paetz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramón Olmos's late challenge caught a Choroico AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramón Olmos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Ramón Olmos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Diego Cortazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Victor Burgos came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Choroico AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Burgos couldn't finish the play. When Jacob Ochagavia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. The supporters of Choroico AFC booed when Hurilihue AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Ochagavia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Esquerra, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 85th minute, Choroico AFC's Moncho Lois ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juan Cristóbal Dundan. Juan Cristóbal Dundan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. If Sandro Paetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute.
