The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Echavarría stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elazar Echeverz made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Maximino Daldos sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute Ramiro Samaniego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eber Barth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel Painemal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eber Barth having to interfere. After 65 played minutes, Chanco's Jose Esteban Parro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elazar Echeverz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chanco reached it. David Echavarría recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute of the match, Maximino Daldos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elazar Echeverz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eber Barth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Denton, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon-Ander Zammit during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ezequiel Painemal kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Chanco's Maximino Daldos managed to work through Guamalata AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Maximino Daldos dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Guamalata AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
