Patricio Muzard made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ulises Patrickson sent off a good shot on target. Patricio Muzard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Devia in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Celedonio Cabedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ilaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pedegua AFC the free kick. In the 14th minute, Celedonio Cabedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes in the game, Ulises Patrickson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Patricio Muzard having to interfere. Celedonio Cabedo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ilaya's Juan Jose Almeyda got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Salvatore Irarrázaval fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pedegua AFC's protests and gave Salvatore Irarrázaval a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Pedegua AFC got a freekick which was hit by Salvatore Irarrázaval. Uriel Devia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferrán Fermandois's late challenge caught a Pedegua AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferrán Fermandois helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Ilaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferrán Fermandois to maneuver through the defense. Vicent Fiedler hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pedegua AFC booed when Ilaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Apel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ulises Patrickson came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Pedegua AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Patrickson couldn't finish the play. Ulises Patrickson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Patricio Muzard made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Ilaya's Celedonio Cabedo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Uriel Devia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Ulises Patrickson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patricio Muzard was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Uriel Devia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Patrickson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Patricio Muzard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reyes Bruggink made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Juan Jose Almeyda sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Ulises Patrickson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pedegua AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 74th match minute, Pedegua AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvatore Irarrázaval to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Pedegua AFC's Reyes Bruggink got control of the ball when Juan Jose Almeyda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Patrickson in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Muzard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Pedegua AFC were the better team. Pedegua AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
