Vinos Bulnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Gustavo Clavijo in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Feliberto Jofre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapinga the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Jacob Quilapan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 played minutes Josías Vigil shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Polonia's Vinos Bulnes to catch but Josías Vigil was lucky. It became 0-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. If Elizalde Valdovinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tapinga's Rufino Iriberry got a free kick in the 35th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Polonia's Feliberto Jofre tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Polonia's Vinos Bulnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Gustavo Clavijo in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Camilo Rodríguez to strike the kick off in the second half. Vinos Bulnes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elizalde Valdovinos in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Carlos Gustavo Clavijo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Polonia's Vinos Bulnes got control of the ball when Elizalde Valdovinos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute, Jacob Quilapan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualberto Gabler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Abumohor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Rodríguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gualberto Gabler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tapinga's zone, Camilo Rodríguez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualberto Gabler came out of the goal and Camilo Rodríguez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd match minute, Polonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Quilapan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Polonia booed when Tapinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufino Iriberry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Jofre, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gualberto Gabler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Rodríguez in the 80th minute of the match. Vinos Bulnes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. After 87 minutes, Severiano Bacigalupi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polonia and the Tapinga players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Polonia got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Bacigalupi. Tapinga's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
