Zebulón Fevre lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Zebulón Fevre kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ignacio Marre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fundicion FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Marre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Ignacio Detmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute Cornelio Villamayor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Ignacio Detmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureo Dinamarca kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Jonatan Mandacovic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Juan Ignacio Detmer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rogerio Semir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ruyman Reole made a huge save. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fundicion FC's goalkeeper Ruyman Reole, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Ignacio Marre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Ignacio Detmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Firmín Van Dijk kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes, Contuy FC's Lester Isasiguia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruyman Reole came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Contuy FC reached it. The Contuy FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fundicion FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogerio Semir made a kick off. Cornelio Villamayor kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match Lester Isasiguia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruyman Reole showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cornelio Villamayor kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Contuy FC's Lester Isasiguia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fundicion FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureo Dinamarca in the 63rd minute of play forced Fundicion FC's goalkeeper Ruyman Reole to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Mandacovic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 71 played minutes Contuy FC got a freekick which was hit by Aureo Dinamarca. If Rogerio Semir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Galiano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes, Fundicion FC's Firmín Van Dijk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juan Ignacio Detmer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fundicion FC reached it. Juan Ignacio Detmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Marre in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Fundicion FC's Ignacio Marre ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juan Ignacio Detmer. Juan Ignacio Detmer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. A collision led to Fundicion FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ignacio Marre hit a great ball. The Fundicion FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fundicion FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
