Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Carelmapu FC's Genaro Frey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juan Ignacio Detmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Frey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Savier Caamaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15thth minute of the game Rogerio Semir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carelmapu FC's Amador Oviedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rogerio Semir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Amador Oviedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Carelmapu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogerio Semir came free, but Amador Oviedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecilio Radic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Ignacio Detmer having to interfere. Cecilio Radic could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Juan Ignacio Detmer made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Frey in the 27th minute of play forced Contuy FC's goalkeeper Juan Ignacio Detmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Frey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Ignacio Detmer having to interfere. Adolfo Solo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Genaro Frey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Juan Ignacio Detmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aureo Dinamarca fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Contuy FC's protests and gave Aureo Dinamarca a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Contuy FC got a freekick which was hit by Aureo Dinamarca. After recieving a nice pass, Carelmapu FC's Juan Fernando Elorreaga tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Contuy FC's Savier Caamaño got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Genaro Frey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Ignacio Detmer having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Savier Caamaño to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Contuy FC got a freekick which was hit by Zebulón Fevre. Juan Ignacio Detmer came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Carelmapu FC's Cecilio Radic. But to his dismay, Cecilio Radic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Genaro Frey came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Carelmapu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Frey couldn't finish the play. After having played for 65 minutes, Cecilio Radic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carelmapu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Radic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Savier Caamaño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amador Oviedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Juan Ignacio Detmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Radic in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Carelmapu FC booed when Contuy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureo Dinamarca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Frey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Juan Ignacio Detmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Genaro Frey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Contuy FC's zone, Genaro Frey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Ignacio Detmer came out of the goal and Genaro Frey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Roy Duñabeitia fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Contuy FC's protests and gave Roy Duñabeitia a yellow card for diving instead. Roy Duñabeitia hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Cecilio Radic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Contuy FC's Juan Ignacio Detmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Frey in the 84th minute of play. Rogerio Semir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Oviedo having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Luis Alberto Zavala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carelmapu FC's Amador Oviedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Carelmapu FC from getting a goal against them. Juan Ignacio Detmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Frey in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Carelmapu FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Contuy FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
