Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Pillay's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Robledo came free, but Salbatore Jungejohan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salbatore Jungejohan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xaiver Recciuc, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Amancio Mac Leay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heliodoro Abufom's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cunco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sergio Huneeus was slow to take the kick. During this time Pillay's players had a chance to rest. Amancio Mac Leay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Tindall in the 17th minute of play. Cosme Tindall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 minutes of play, Pillay's Cosme Tindall made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amancio Mac Leay was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Cunco's Amancio Mac Leay got control of the ball when Eladio Riveros tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Cunco's goalkeeper Amancio Mac Leay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eladio Riveros. Eladio Riveros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Mac Leay having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Tindall in the 34th minute of play forced Cunco's goalkeeper Amancio Mac Leay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salbatore Jungejohan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Robledo in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xaiver Recciuc in the 37th minute of play forced Pillay's goalkeeper Salbatore Jungejohan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Xaiver Recciuc made a precise shot to the right of Salbatore Jungejohan. Pillay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Nereo Robledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salbatore Jungejohan having to interfere. Amancio Mac Leay came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Pillay's Eladio Riveros. But to his dismay, Eladio Riveros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosme Tindall was the one to do the kick off. Eladio Riveros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cunco's Amancio Mac Leay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Francisco Bear in the 58th minute of play. Gerónimo Guerola's late challenge caught a Pillay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerónimo Guerola helped the player get up and apologised. Gerónimo Guerola hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Cunco's goal looked a bit too open when Eladio Riveros came free, but Amancio Mac Leay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes Cunco got a freekick which was hit by Gerónimo Guerola. In the 66th minute, Xaiver Recciuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosme Tindall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heliodoro Abufom scored 3-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amancio Mac Leay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eladio Riveros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amancio Mac Leay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cunco's Gerónimo Guerola got a free kick in the 81st minute. Eladio Riveros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cunco's goalkeeper Amancio Mac Leay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Eladio Riveros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pillay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eladio Riveros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 minutes of play, Pillay's Eladio Riveros made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amancio Mac Leay was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pillay had won after a very even match.
