Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ysidro Katalinic got the match started through his kick off. When Severiano Maillard fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maiteines FC's protests and gave Severiano Maillard a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Maiteines FC's Severiano Maillard got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Carlos Hernán Parot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poblacion's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Hernán Parot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnau Lerga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taurino Legrand during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Carlos Hernán Parot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arnau Lerga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Máximo Echavarría sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlos Hernán Parot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Arnau Lerga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Normando Abeliuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ysidro Katalinic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Poblacion's goalkeeper Normando Abeliuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Maiteines FC booed when Poblacion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ugas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Poblacion's zone, Eufemio Larreta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Normando Abeliuk came out of the goal and Eufemio Larreta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quique Zumelzu charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quique Zumelzu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, Quique Zumelzu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Carlos Hernán Parot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnau Lerga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes Maiteines FC got a freekick which was hit by Quique Zumelzu. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maiteines FC's goalkeeper Arnau Lerga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Hernán Parot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnau Lerga having to interfere. Arnau Lerga was a little too slow when Carlos Hernán Parot got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Hernán Parot to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnau Lerga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Hernán Parot in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Maiteines FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Arnaldo San Cristóbal hit a great ball. Poblacion's Máximo Echavarría got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, Maiteines FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taurino Legrand to maneuver through the defense. Ysidro Katalinic's late challenge caught a Poblacion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ysidro Katalinic helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes, Poblacion's Batista Faure shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnau Lerga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Poblacion reached it. 65 minutes into the game, Poblacion's Máximo Echavarría nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnau Lerga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to Poblacion getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Vicent Caso hit a great ball. Eufemio Larreta struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Normando Abeliuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maiteines FC. In the 78th minute, Ysidro Katalinic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnau Lerga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Máximo Echavarría went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Poblacion's Normando Abeliuk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Poblacion from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the game, Eufemio Larreta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Normando Abeliuk. Eufemio Larreta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. If Máximo Echavarría had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Poblacion players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
