When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Omar Paredes sped through Maiteines FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnau Lerga. Isaac Marcou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Arnau Lerga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maiteines FC's Arnau Lerga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Marcou in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Maiteines FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taurino Legrand to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Maiteines FC booed when Fundicion AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvar Farne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Eastman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodolfo Faez. Fundicion AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Ysidro Katalinic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maiteines FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ysidro Katalinic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eufemio Larreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fundicion AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rufino Olate hit a great ball. Isaac Marcou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnau Lerga having to interfere. Eufemio Larreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Marcou kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Quique Zumelzu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Arnau Lerga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Marcou in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ysidro Katalinic was the one to do the kick off. If Ysidro Katalinic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes, Fundicion AFC's Alvar Farne shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnau Lerga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fundicion AFC reached it. 79 minutes into the game, one of Maiteines FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Adán Arteta shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Eufemio Larreta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Arnaldo San Cristóbal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maiteines FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo San Cristóbal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Faez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th match minute, Maiteines FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastián Aliaga to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
