After a defensive mix-up in Maiteines FC's zone, Severino Carranza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnau Lerga came out of the goal and Severino Carranza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Agurto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ysidro Katalinic, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Florencio Zurita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arnau Lerga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Maiteines FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Eufemio Larreta hit a great ball. Eliseo Agurto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ysidro Katalinic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Tinguiririca AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eufemio Larreta came free, but Eliseo Agurto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Tinguiririca AFC's Liberto Murdoch broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Tinguiririca AFC's Eliseo Agurto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eufemio Larreta in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eufemio Larreta in the 48th minute of play forced Tinguiririca AFC's goalkeeper Eliseo Agurto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The match ended in a win for Tinguiririca AFC.
