Jaume Niza didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sucuna's Francisco Antonio Darrigrande shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Florencio Nilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Topocho Iñiguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Josué Iriberry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sucuna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pallinco AFC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sucuna fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Pallinco AFC a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Mann to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gustavo Leyton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Francisco Antonio Darrigrande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sucuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Antonio Darrigrande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaume Niza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Darien Iturralde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Francisco Antonio Darrigrande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaume Niza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaume Niza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Antonio Darrigrande in the 90th minute of play. If Edgar Olivera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sucuna's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
