If Dino Ulibarrigamboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geraldo Ortuño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerónimo Villarreal having to interfere. Ernesto Hinojosa kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Efraín Quezada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gerónimo Villarreal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Ansaldo in the 15th minute of play forced Ossa FC's goalkeeper Lester Quilodrán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrosio Ansaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mauque's goalkeeper Gerónimo Villarreal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Efraín Quezada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the match, Mauque's goalkeeper Gerónimo Villarreal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efraín Quezada.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geraldo Ortuño to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Efraín Quezada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Efraín Quezada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lester Quilodrán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Ulibarrigamboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mauque getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Genaro Gamarra hit a great ball. Ossa FC's Franco Salles couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mauque. In the 75th minute, Geraldo Ortuño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justino Depetris's late challenge caught a Ossa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Depetris helped the player get up and apologised. Justino Depetris hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78th match minute, Mauque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Hinojosa to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo Ortuño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerónimo Villarreal having to interfere. Lester Quilodrán was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Dino Ulibarrigamboa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dino Ulibarrigamboa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Lester Quilodrán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Ulibarrigamboa in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ossa FC's zone, Ambrosio Ansaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lester Quilodrán came out of the goal and Ambrosio Ansaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute Dino Ulibarrigamboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lester Quilodrán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mauque had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
