The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, one of Combarbala FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Combarbala FC. 25 minutes into the match, Quiscal FC's Menéndez Balbontín sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Flechart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Quiscal FC booed when Combarbala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position.
