Quentín La Motte charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quentín La Motte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Narcomillo Villamayor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Domenico Campillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huachipato's goalkeeper Domenico Campillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Quetro FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Quentín La Motte hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Eleazar Artaño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domenico Campillo. Huachipato's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eleazar Artaño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Adán Kroon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Domimisse having to interfere. In the 39th minute Adán Kroon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Domimisse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Luis Azagra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Domimisse having to interfere. Adán Kroon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Salvador Domimisse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adán Kroon was the one to do the kick off. Huachipato's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adán Kroon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcomillo Villamayor in the 56th minute of play forced Huachipato's goalkeeper Domenico Campillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narcomillo Villamayor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Eleazar Artaño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Quetro FC's zone, Adán Kroon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Domimisse came out of the goal and Adán Kroon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
