In the 16th minute of the match, Modesto Mariño tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Frankie Cryer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Saturnín Guillermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Mariño hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Saturnín Guillermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Galvarino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnín Guillermo came free, but Clemente Mac Rostie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Saturnín Guillermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Mac Rostie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Mac Rostie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Maier, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Clemente Mac Rostie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnín Guillermo in the 30th minute of play. Rómulo Akel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manu Serrano kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnín Guillermo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Mac Rostie saved Galvarino FC from getting behind. Clemente Mac Rostie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnín Guillermo in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Kutlu Vala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogerio Naretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saturnín Guillermo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Galvarino FC's Remigio Maza got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Natalio Maier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Kutlu Vala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CARLOS AGUILA F.C. booed when Galvarino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Riveros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Galvarino FC's zone, 郭峰梁 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Mac Rostie came out of the goal and 郭峰梁 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Mac Rostie was a little too slow when Saturnín Guillermo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 64th match minute, Galvarino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Raúl Isassi to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Clemente Mac Rostie managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when CARLOS AGUILA F.C.'s Saturnín Guillermo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Rómulo Akel came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the CARLOS AGUILA F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rómulo Akel couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Galvarino FC's zone, Natalio Maier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Mac Rostie came out of the goal and Natalio Maier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Galvarino FC's Clemente Mac Rostie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Galvarino FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Riveros in the 82nd minute of play forced CARLOS AGUILA F.C.'s goalkeeper Frankie Cryer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnín Guillermo scored 0-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Mac Rostie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rogerio Naretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Saturnín Guillermo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CARLOS AGUILA F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnín Guillermo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Mac Rostie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
