Txomin Marshall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Acurcio in the 10th minute of the match. Txomin Marshall made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Franco Hodge sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Pellines's Raúl Gorostiaga got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pellines's zone, Henrico Akel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Abuauad came out of the goal and Henrico Akel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urtsín Floto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ireno Chavarria in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niceto Abuauad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urtsín Floto might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niceto Abuauad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urtsín Floto ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ireno Chavarria in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. Pellines's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urtsín Floto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 35th minute, René Scarano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute of the match Carlos Manuel Swett shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Txomin Marshall showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by René Scarano in the 37th minute of play forced Pellines's goalkeeper Niceto Abuauad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Urtsín Floto came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Pupio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtsín Floto couldn't finish the play. If Pere Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopold Jelsborg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Urtsín Floto got free with Niceto Abuauad in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pupio FC's goalkeeper Txomin Marshall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Pupio FC fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Pupio FC's Ireno Chavarria looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Ireno Chavarria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pupio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ireno Chavarria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pere Cox's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niceto Abuauad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Urtsín Floto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
