The supporters of Lambert AFC booed when Llaima AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Infante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lambert AFC's Jorge Manzur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Ibarbia in the 33rd minute of play. Jorge Manzur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Ibarbia in the 39th minute of the match. Jorge Manzur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Ibarbia in the 46th minute of play. Salomón Madaune who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Jorge Manzur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Llaima AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lambert AFC were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celestino Ibarbia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lambert AFC's Velasco Olivar got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Celestino Ibarbia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron Semell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Velasco Olivar went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Salomón Madaune fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Manzur having to interfere. Jorge Manzur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomón Madaune, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute Salomón Madaune shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Manzur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Semell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Velasco Olivar in the 92nd minute.
