Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julio Carreto got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Pacífico Chacon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Octavio Leal. The goal made the score 1-0. Octavio Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pacífico Chacon in the 6th minute of the match. Rubén Ferrer scored 1-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toni Arenas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rubén Ferrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Cultane's goalkeeper Octavio Leal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silviano Inzunza. If Silviano Inzunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Carreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Carreto in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toni Arenas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silviano Inzunza struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ermita FC's zone, Rubén Ferrer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toni Arenas came out of the goal and Rubén Ferrer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ermita FC's Celedonio Schuchardt got a free kick in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Pacífico Chacon made the kick off in the second half. Julio Carreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Julio Carreto came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Cultane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Carreto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Depsch in the 80th minute of play forced Cultane's goalkeeper Octavio Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Rubén Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cultane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubén Ferrer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Pacífico Chacon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Octavio Leal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toni Arenas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubén Ferrer in the 99th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
