In the 7th minute, Ulises Vlahovic made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Castro. Chapoco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 14th minute Maximiliano Spöerer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chictuca's Anselmo Espinace suffered a concussion in the 15th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Hermelando Iriart fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapoco's protests and gave Hermelando Iriart a yellow card for diving instead. Hermelando Iriart kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Alfredo Picarte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonso Castro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Vlahovic in the 19th minute of play forced Chapoco's goalkeeper Alfonso Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Chapoco getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. José Alberto Nieto hit a great ball. If Ulises Vlahovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Ulises Vlahovic made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Castro. Chapoco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Rogerio Markovic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Schroeders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magdaleno Marfil in the 41st minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulises Vlahovic was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Chictuca's Ismael Mac Donald got a free kick in the 60th minute. Alfredo Picarte's late challenge caught a Chapoco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Picarte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute of the match Adriel Amor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Schroeders showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Chictuca booed when Chapoco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriel Amor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Rogerio Markovic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapoco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogerio Markovic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfonso Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulises Vlahovic in the 76th minute. Rogerio Markovic scored 1-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Schroeders, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulises Vlahovic could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Alfonso Castro made a huge save. Christian Schroeders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogerio Markovic in the 90th minute of the match. When Ulises Vlahovic came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Chictuca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Vlahovic couldn't finish the play.
