An unexpectedly hard shot by Balendín Smith in the 5th minute of play forced Huilquilemo AFC's goalkeeper Basilio Grebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Huilquilemo AFC's Xacobo Aulestia got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Balendín Smith left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fermín Diaz de León to strike the kick off in the second half. Francisco José Wheeler kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Huilquilemo AFC's Javiero Menares tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Huilquilemo AFC booed when Tangue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco José Wheeler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Velasco Yáñez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Huilquilemo AFC's Fermín Diaz de León got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 minutes, Podador Izammit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huilquilemo AFC and the Tangue players grew even worse after the yellow card. Podador Izammit hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Fermín Diaz de León fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefano Carvajal having to interfere. Basilio Grebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balendín Smith, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Balendín Smith during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stefano Carvajal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Tangue's zone, Velasco Yáñez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefano Carvajal came out of the goal and Velasco Yáñez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tangue had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
