Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abelardo Painevilu started the match with the kick off. When Eriberto Lecuna fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Japu's protests and gave Eriberto Lecuna a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Japu getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Eriberto Lecuna hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the game, Abelardo Painevilu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bairon Olave was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jaume Erazo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bairon Olave having to interfere. Bairon Olave stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo Painevilu's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Quilicura AFC's Abelardo Painevilu got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bairon Olave took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaume Erazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute of the match Uriel Monsalve sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bairon Olave skillfully saved the ball. Valiente Carvajal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pere Buchanan having to make a save. In the 26th minute, Francisco Gutiérrez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quilicura AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jaume Erazo struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Bairon Olave didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilicura AFC. After some careless play in the Japu defense, Jaume Erazo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bairon Olave. The Japu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bairon Olave should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the game, Eriberto Lecuna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pere Buchanan. Eriberto Lecuna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 47th minute Abelardo Painevilu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bairon Olave saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Alberto Vidma to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Vidma in the 54th minute of play forced Quilicura AFC's goalkeeper Pere Buchanan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaume Erazo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bairon Olave having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Japu's Cristóbal Betanzos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cristóbal Betanzos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Japu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cristóbal Betanzos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Japu! Francisco Gutiérrez placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Japu's Bairon Olave played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Painevilu in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Japu's goalkeeper Bairon Olave had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaume Erazo. Bairon Olave made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Painevilu in the 70th minute of play. Bairon Olave took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Painevilu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Japu's Valiente Carvajal got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bairon Olave showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Painevilu in the 79th minute of the match. Valiente Carvajal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pere Buchanan having to interfere. Pere Buchanan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valiente Carvajal, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 82 minutes into the match, Valiente Carvajal notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Quilicura AFC's Pere Buchanan. Pere Buchanan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Alberto Vidma kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Japu's Alonzo Schnaidt got a free kick in the 94th minute. Francisco Gutiérrez fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 96th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. If Jaume Erazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quilicura AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
