Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mantilhue AFC's Loreno Reyes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 7 minutes, Quintán Mac Donald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zapiga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quintán Mac Donald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Mantilhue AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Quintán Mac Donald came free, but Vicente Avilés reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Villamayor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Zapiga FC's zone, Loreno Reyes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efraín Amor came out of the goal and Loreno Reyes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Mantilhue AFC's Benito Villamayor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Efraín Amor. Efraín Amor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 24th minute, Benito Villamayor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efraín Amor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Amado Akel hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mantilhue AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! Efraín Amor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Villamayor in the 32nd minute. Loreno Reyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Efraín Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Villamayor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Benito Villamayor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Alberto Oyarce's late challenge caught a Mantilhue AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Alberto Oyarce helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mantilhue AFC booed when Zapiga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Alberto Oyarce didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Alipio Gamarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efraín Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Quintán Mac Donald made the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Arbildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Vicente Avilés tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Avilés made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Isidoro Arbildo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loreno Reyes in the 55th minute of play forced Zapiga FC's goalkeeper Efraín Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efraín Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loreno Reyes in the 58th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Zapiga FC defense, Loreno Reyes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efraín Amor. The Zapiga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efraín Amor should have stopped the shot. Omar Pasenau was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Isidoro Arbildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Vicente Avilés tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Arbildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Vicente Avilés made a huge save. If Benito Villamayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Mantilhue AFC's goalkeeper Vicente Avilés had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Arbildo. Mantilhue AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Isidoro Arbildo scored to the left of an out of position Vicente Avilés, making the score, 3-1.
