After 27 played minutes Soltebrios got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Suazo. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel Serón stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Soltebrios got a freekick which was hit by Batista Landaeta. Mario Candia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Duardo Pumaraboli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 52 minute of play. Mario Candia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theobald Lorca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
