Duardo Pumaraboli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jasone Fuentealba having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Nadis AFC's goalkeeper Jasone Fuentealba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duardo Pumaraboli. Theobald Lorca's late challenge caught a Nadis AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theobald Lorca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Theobald Lorca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigio Escobar hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Manuelo Tenorio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jasone Fuentealba. Nadis AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Duardo Pumaraboli struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jasone Fuentealba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tinajas. After a defensive mix-up in Nadis AFC's zone, Mariano Ojeda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jasone Fuentealba came out of the goal and Mariano Ojeda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute, Gregorio Oroeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Ojeda to make the kick off. The Tinajas fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Tinajas's Duardo Pumaraboli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jasone Fuentealba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Ojeda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duardo Pumaraboli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Fulco Manns managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nadis AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulco Manns was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Daiber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Aristides Carranza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fulco Manns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
