Batista Landaeta hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Nadis AFC's goalkeeper Jasone Fuentealba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Serón. Marcel Serón recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Aristides Carranza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Candia. Soltebrios's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristides Carranza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Nadis AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Serón came free, but Jasone Fuentealba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filiberto Mallorquin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jasone Fuentealba was a little too slow when Marcel Serón got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. Jasone Fuentealba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Serón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Suazo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Mario Candia came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nadis AFC's Aristides Carranza. But to his dismay, Aristides Carranza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Serón got free with Jasone Fuentealba in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aristides Carranza to make the kick off. If Filiberto Mallorquin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jasone Fuentealba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Mallorquin in the 60th minute of play. Filiberto Mallorquin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jasone Fuentealba having to make a save. In the 93rd minute, Marcel Serón made a precise shot to the right of Jasone Fuentealba. Nadis AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
