Leovigildo Palamara charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leovigildo Palamara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Conay AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Leovigildo Palamara hit a great ball. Ondino Mery acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Odón Ebensperger. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelino Blanch in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ondino Mery saved Conay AFC from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Fulgencio Alegre got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Noé Vivero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blanco Carcuro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to Seguel Salazar getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Felipe Fuica hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Conay AFC's Iván Minden tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Conay AFC's zone, Marcelino Blanch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ondino Mery came out of the goal and Marcelino Blanch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelino Blanch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ondino Mery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulgencio Alegre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ondino Mery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Blanch, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Archibaldo Herzl to make the kick off. Blanco Carcuro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noé Vivero having to interfere. A collision led to Seguel Salazar getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Abdón Rozas hit a great ball. Seguel Salazar's Noé Vivero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Archibaldo Herzl in the 67th minute of play. Iván Minden took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Noé Vivero. Seguel Salazar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 71st minute Marcelino Blanch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ondino Mery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Alegre notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Conay AFC's Ondino Mery. Ondino Mery was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Marcelino Blanch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Francisco Miguel Zambón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Alegre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ondino Mery. Conay AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulgencio Alegre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Archibaldo Herzl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noé Vivero having to interfere.
