León Domínguez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 5th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Galleguillos FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. José Javier Tabilo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tarapaca's zone, Enrico Collados stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Costabal came out of the goal and Enrico Collados tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Collados in the 13th minute of play forced Tarapaca's goalkeeper David Costabal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17th play minutes Remicio Vicentens shot 0-1, a short shot which went by David Costabal and just under the crossbar into goal. Tarapaca's Hugo Mejia shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sebastiano Gallegos but with some difficulty. If León Domínguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galleguillos FC's Sebastiano Gallegos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Galleguillos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute León Domínguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastiano Gallegos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrico Collados sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Leopoldo Jacinto Mandujano fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarapaca's protests and gave Leopoldo Jacinto Mandujano a yellow card for diving instead. Leopoldo Jacinto Mandujano hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for León Domínguez to strike the kick off in the second half. When Remicio Vicentens came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Galleguillos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remicio Vicentens couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Tarapaca's goalkeeper David Costabal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remicio Vicentens. Efraín Iñiguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastiano Gallegos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from León Domínguez in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efraín Iñiguez in the 92nd minute of play forced Galleguillos FC's goalkeeper Sebastiano Gallegos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, León Domínguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by León Domínguez in the 97th minute of play forced Galleguillos FC's goalkeeper Sebastiano Gallegos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Galleguillos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Galleguillos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
