After a defensive mix-up in Huicha AFC's zone, Abdón Mac Kenzie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pere Mitrovich came out of the goal and Abdón Mac Kenzie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Amado Arizmendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15thth minute of the game Abel Portalupi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huicha AFC's Pere Mitrovich was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amado Arizmendi's late challenge caught a Rosita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amado Arizmendi helped the player get up and apologised. Amado Arizmendi kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Rutenio Chavez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Miguel Chavarria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinaldo Herboso during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rosita FC booed when Huicha AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rutenio Chavez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Huicha AFC's Pere Mitrovich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdón Mac Kenzie in the 67th minute of play. Miguel Chavarria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Miquel in the 74th minute of play. If Rutenio Chavez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pere Mitrovich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Portalupi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosita FC's Miguel Chavarria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Rosita FC from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute, Rutenio Chavez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Huicha AFC booed when Rosita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Araneda didn't get a good kick on the ball.
