Noé Bennet kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Ceferino Justiniano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Carmelo Alcaíno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Alberto Cañas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Larraechea having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romano Ascuí in the 11th minute of play forced Lincoy's goalkeeper Carmelo Alcaíno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Larraechea was a little too slow when Carlos Alberto Cañas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Carlos Pan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carmelo Alcaíno. Lincoy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Justiniano in the 18th minute of play forced Lincoy's goalkeeper Carmelo Alcaíno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmelo Alcaíno came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Pisiga AFC's Romano Ascuí. But to his dismay, Romano Ascuí quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 27 minutes, Cipriano Green mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lincoy and the Pisiga AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lincoy getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Cipriano Green hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes Pisiga AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enmanuel Eguiguren. When Lincoy's Gualberto Urquiza in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pisiga AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Alberto Cañas struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Danilo Larraechea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lincoy. Carlos Alberto Cañas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Danilo Larraechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pisiga AFC's Danilo Larraechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualberto Urquiza in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ceferino Justiniano was the one to do the kick off. Carmelo Alcaíno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Justiniano in the 60th minute of play. Gualberto Urquiza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Carlos Alberto Cañas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lincoy's Cristián Amenábar got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 76th match minute, Pisiga AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ysmael Raymond to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Ysmael Raymond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Larraechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Cañas in the 79th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Carlos Alberto Cañas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Larraechea was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Justiniano in the 83rd minute of play forced Lincoy's goalkeeper Carmelo Alcaíno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pisiga AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lincoy.
