Animales's Donato Morandé played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quim Villaseñor in the 9th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Miren Lagos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes, Nicolas Villavicencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rincon FC and the Animales players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donato Morandé showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quim Villaseñor, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A collision led to Rincon FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Theobald Serón hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, Albin Marquezado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Donato Morandé was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miren Lagos to strike the kick off in the second half. Albin Marquezado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Donato Morandé tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albin Marquezado scored 4-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Morandé, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Donato Morandé took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Marquezado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Animales's goalkeeper Donato Morandé, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Urtsín Ardura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Animales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rincon FC the free kick. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Rincon FC. Juan Daughters stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Donato Morandé. 5-0. Rincon FC's Quim Villaseñor got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Animales players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rincon FC.
