Chictuca's Benito Irarrázaval tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Molinero FC's goalkeeper Lester Marful had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Moreau. If Marcos Moreau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Molinero FC's Lester Marful proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Molinero FC from getting a goal against them. Marcos Moreau scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lester Marful, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Molinero FC's Lester Marful got control of the ball when Marcos Moreau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xavier Millape stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Irarrázaval. 1-2. Lester Marful made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Moreau in the 64th minute of play. Velasco Walker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Irarrázaval read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elear Dudagoitia in the 68th minute of play forced Molinero FC's goalkeeper Lester Marful to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Elear Dudagoitia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lester Marful. Molinero FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elear Dudagoitia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Pietro Fanjul took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lester Marful. Molinero FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Chictuca's Marcos Moreau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lester Marful narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 84 minutes, Dalmacio Peñailillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chictuca and the Molinero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Elear Dudagoitia made a precise shot to the right of Lester Marful. Molinero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. When Marcos Moreau came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Chictuca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Moreau couldn't finish the play. Lester Marful showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Moreau, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Molinero FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
