Zenaido Cabañas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Sipiza FC's Naelio Gallegos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pere Quintana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Pere Jordi Puertocarrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When José Julio Muga came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the San Patricio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Julio Muga couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, San Patricio's Pere Quintana got control of the ball when Mariano Calderón tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zenaido Cabañas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Julio Muga in the 32nd minute of the match. Enrique Mariano Rabe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moisés Fournier charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moisés Fournier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Moisés Fournier hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Zenaido Cabañas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Mariano Rabe in the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute José Julio Muga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenaido Cabañas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zenaido Cabañas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Mariano Rabe in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Julio Muga in the 49th minute of play forced Sipiza FC's goalkeeper Zenaido Cabañas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Sipiza FC's zone, Enrique Mariano Rabe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zenaido Cabañas came out of the goal and Enrique Mariano Rabe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute José Julio Muga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenaido Cabañas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ariano Diban fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sipiza FC's protests and gave Ariano Diban a yellow card for diving instead. Ariano Diban hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Enrique Mariano Rabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. San Patricio's Enrique Mariano Rabe got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Zenaido Cabañas managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when San Patricio's Enrique Mariano Rabe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pere Quintana came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Sipiza FC's Mariano Calderón. But to his dismay, Mariano Calderón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. San Patricio were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
