After 27 minutes, Ceferino Clausen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cutemu and the Chictuca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ceferino Clausen kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Reynaldo Dayson made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Saverio Araneda sent off a good shot on target. If Madeo Lezaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Saverio Araneda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chictuca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Madeo Lezaeta was the one to do the kick off. When Juan Ignacio Valderrama came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Cutemu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Ignacio Valderrama couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celino Budinich in the 58th minute of play forced Cutemu's goalkeeper Reynaldo Dayson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Xaiver Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chictuca's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
