Ipres FC's Ceferino Barbaste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roldán Domeyco in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Ipres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ondino Letelier came free, but Ceferino Barbaste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roldán Domeyco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Barbaste having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Ondino Letelier put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ceferino Barbaste. In the 30th minute Ernesto Daniel Gartsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Barbaste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Daniel Gartsman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chancal AFC's Xavier Gurruchaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Luis Urresti in the 34th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Chancal AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ipres FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Xavier Gurruchaga, was totally fooled by Ipres FC's Eustaquio Mioño, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jose Ramon Mac Donald came free in the 45th minute and tried to tip the ball over Ceferino Barbaste, but to the joy of Ipres FC's supporters the ball went over. Ernesto Daniel Gartsman might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ceferino Barbaste. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Daniel Gartsman ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Luis Urresti made a kick off. Aaron Makaus charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Makaus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. It was beautiful to see Chancal AFC's Jose Ramon Mac Donald in action when he in the 57th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Roldán Domeyco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ernesto Daniel Gartsman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. Ernesto Daniel Gartsman struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ceferino Barbaste didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chancal AFC. José Luis Urresti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chancal AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
