Ipres FC's Ceferino Barbaste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Ipres FC from getting a goal against them. Balendín Sales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ceferino Barbaste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceferino Barbaste came out of the goal and Balendín Sales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Ipres FC's goalkeeper Ceferino Barbaste had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balendín Sales. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saverio Mayol during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Trincao booed when Ipres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Mayol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Pedro Goncalves made the kick off in the second half. Ceferino Barbaste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Goncalves in the 51st minute of the match. Trincao's Rafael Cantuarias pulled a muscle in his back after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balendín Sales in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceferino Barbaste prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aaron Makaus was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 77 played minutes Ipres FC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Makaus. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balendín Sales in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
