Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anselmo Enríquez got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Surire's goal looked a bit too open when Gilesindo Varletta came free, but Alexandro Mercado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandro Mercado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilesindo Varletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Surire's zone, Gilesindo Varletta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandro Mercado came out of the goal and Gilesindo Varletta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gilesindo Varletta came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Lagos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilesindo Varletta couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Nacho Monje shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandro Mercado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lagos's zone, Justo Azpuru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belmiro Esquivel came out of the goal and Justo Azpuru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Naelio Mundaca's late challenge caught a Lagos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Naelio Mundaca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Surire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naelio Mundaca to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th match minute, Surire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Azpuru to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Surire's goalkeeper Alexandro Mercado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Belmiro Esquivel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Naelio Mundaca. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Surire booed when Lagos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo Armijo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pedro Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Enríquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Esquivel having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Surire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Azpuru to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Surire's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gilesindo Varletta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Surire's Anselmo Enríquez in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lagos's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute, Pedro Amor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Surire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Belmiro Esquivel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Amor in the 96th minute of play. In the 98th minute Anselmo Enríquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Esquivel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Surire's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
