With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valiente Didier in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Gerbella saved Guacolla FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valiente Didier in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Gerbella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Disvandis Alba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 played minutes Guacolla FC got a freekick which was hit by Ofelio Iglesias. In the 11th minute, Valiente Didier made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Gerbella. Guacolla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 15th minute Ofelio Iglesias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Armstrong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ofelio Iglesias's late challenge caught a Galacticos C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ofelio Iglesias helped the player get up and apologised. Ofelio Iglesias kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Disvandis Alba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipo Mazeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Gerbella having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Guacolla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Disvandis Alba came free, but Gabriel Gerbella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Guacolla FC's zone, Valiente Didier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Gerbella came out of the goal and Valiente Didier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgilio Armstrong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ofelio Iglesias in the 45th minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Guacolla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Labbé to maneuver through the defense. After 49 minutes, Juan Raúl Faivovich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guacolla FC and the Galacticos C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juan Carlos Siña shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After the first half Galacticos C.F. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ofelio Iglesias to strike the kick off in the second half. Guacolla FC's Gabriel Gerbella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Guacolla FC from getting a goal against them. Valiente Didier in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gabriel Gerbella, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Gabriel Gerbella managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Galacticos C.F.'s Valiente Didier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Felipo Mazeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gabriel Gerbella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave Galacticos C.F. a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juan Carlos Siña, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guacolla FC's Gabriel Gerbella. 1-3. Galacticos C.F.'s Frances Huaquil was substituted for Eliseo Aulestia. Valiente Didier struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Gabriel Gerbella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galacticos C.F.. In the 85th minute, Felipo Mazeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute Disvandis Alba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Gerbella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Valiente Didier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Gerbella was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Disvandis Alba struck a weak shot in the 102nd minute. Gabriel Gerbella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galacticos C.F.. When the final whistle sounded Galacticos C.F. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guacolla FC.
