Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brian Plaza took the kick off in the first half of the match. Angelino Irigoyen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 3rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Salvatore Arévalo. If Niguel Berna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Irigoyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Vicente Naviedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Niguel Berna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Irigoyen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Urtsín Maquieira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Higuerta's Angelino Irigoyen did a great save. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Renaca's goalkeeper Regino Zavaleta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Brian Plaza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Regino Zavaleta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Higuerta booed when Renaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niguel Berna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Abraham Ried managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Higuerta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Ried was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Echedey Neculman during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Higuerta getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Echedey Neculman hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Niguel Berna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute Abraham Ried shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Regino Zavaleta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Irigoyen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niguel Berna in the 35th minute. Abraham Ried fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Regino Zavaleta having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niguel Berna was the one to do the kick off. Regino Zavaleta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Plaza's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Ried got free with Regino Zavaleta in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Abraham Ried notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Renaca's Regino Zavaleta. Regino Zavaleta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 61 minutes, Brian Plaza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Higuerta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brian Plaza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brian Plaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Regino Zavaleta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abraham Ried sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Higuerta's goal looked a bit too open when Niguel Berna came free, but Angelino Irigoyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Higuerta's Quintín La Motte got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Robustiano Puccio came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Renaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Puccio couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the game, Urtsín Maquieira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Renaca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Higuerta the free kick. After 79 played minutes Renaca got a freekick which was hit by Urtsín Maquieira. A collision led to Renaca getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Urtsín Maquieira hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Higuerta's Romeo Chavez tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Jorge Vicente Naviedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Plaza spun around in front of the goal 85 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Renaca's goal. Angelino Irigoyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Vicente Naviedes in the 96th minute of the match. Higuerta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
