In the 12th minute, Salomón Malbec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abner Trincado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Aspillaga having to interfere. Natalio Faverau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tauro Lecaros in the 17th minute of the match. Tauro Lecaros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Natalio Faverau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Faverau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salomón Malbec in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Copiapo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Palazuelos came free, but Flavio Aspillaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Tauro Lecaros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Faverau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tauro Lecaros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Tauro Lecaros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Natalio Faverau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abner Trincado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Adalberto Palazuelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Aspillaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abner Trincado might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Aspillaga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abner Trincado ran back to his position shaking his head. Adalberto Palazuelos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavio Aspillaga came out and tried to block the shot, but Adalberto Palazuelos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Isaiás Millanao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the game, Copiapo AFC's Tauro Lecaros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natalio Faverau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 85th minute Salomón Malbec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Faverau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Farfán kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tauro Lecaros in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natalio Faverau saved Chanquiuque from getting behind. Adalberto Palazuelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute.
