Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damián Alessandri started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leovigildo Word during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Leovigildo Word hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4thth minute of the game Damián Alessandri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caunahue AFC's Abelardo Claude was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Genaro Portales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Alcides Escala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genaro Portales in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alcides Escala saved Club Deportivo San Miguel from getting behind. In the 19thth minute of the game Genaro Portales who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo San Miguel's Alcides Escala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo San Miguel's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Portales came free, but Alcides Escala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Sebastiano Palomera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo San Miguel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caunahue AFC the free kick. Sebastiano Palomera kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Genaro Portales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alcides Escala having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Genaro Portales could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-0 into the left cross. Leovigildo Word was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Club Deportivo San Miguel booed when Caunahue AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leovigildo Word didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Damián Alessandri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caunahue AFC's Abelardo Claude was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Caunahue AFC's Ceandro Denton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alcides Escala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club Deportivo San Miguel's Damián Alessandri got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo San Miguel's goal looked a bit too open when Ceandro Denton came free, but Alcides Escala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damián Alessandri in the 55th minute of play forced Caunahue AFC's goalkeeper Abelardo Claude to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alcides Escala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceandro Denton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceandro Denton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alcides Escala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Alcides Escala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceandro Denton in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Quintín Faverau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ceandro Denton, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 66 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alcides Escala was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Caunahue AFC's zone, Tobías Abaitua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Claude came out of the goal and Tobías Abaitua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alcides Escala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceandro Denton, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceandro Denton in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alcides Escala saved Club Deportivo San Miguel from getting behind. Rainerio Bakovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alcides Escala having to interfere. Ceandro Denton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alcides Escala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caunahue AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
