Marc Bulboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Yáñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Ubaldo Matildo Anriquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Maria Machado having to interfere. If Alirio Villouta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute of the match Abraham Astigueta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Maria Machado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fulco Piña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jose Maria Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ubaldo Matildo Anriquez to strike the kick off in the second half. During the 53rd minute of the match Xabel Pascuala completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Xabel Pascuala a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Pachani AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play.
