The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caspana's goalkeeper Nastasio Stillfried, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caspana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Tapia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd play minute Angelino Manns came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nastasio Stillfried. 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casimiro Armanet to strike the kick off in the second half. Nastasio Stillfried stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Armanet's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Nastasio Stillfried showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Manns, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Caspana's zone, Casimiro Armanet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nastasio Stillfried came out of the goal and Casimiro Armanet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Angelino Manns notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Caspana's Nastasio Stillfried. Nastasio Stillfried was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute of the match, Severo Tapia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fulco Brotfeld saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fulco Brotfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Tapia, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Huaitane's goalkeeper Fulco Brotfeld had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basilio Ganter. If Casimiro Armanet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Manns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nastasio Stillfried having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Angelino Manns had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nastasio Stillfried. Caspana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Manns was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 90 played minutes Huaitane got a freekick which was hit by Mannuel Giagier. In the 91st match minute, Huaitane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Armanet to maneuver through the defense. Severo Tapia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Huaitane's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
