No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Rogerio Patterson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pere Jordi Delano couldn't finish the play. Ceandro Colimán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Tellerias, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 59th match minute, Chollay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Anthony to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Dionisio Jullian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Francisco Aylwin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chollay's zone, Pere Jordi Delano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceandro Colimán came out of the goal and Pere Jordi Delano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edelmiro Tellerias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ceandro Colimán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Chollay's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Tellerias came free, but Ceandro Colimán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maria's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
