In the 27th minute, Isadoro Gundian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toni Dumont was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Isadoro Gundian came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Guaillane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isadoro Gundian couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leovigildo Landea in the 41st minute of play forced Pullay's goalkeeper Toni Dumont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Guaillane's Isadoro Gundian got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Adriano Perochena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pullay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guaillane the free kick. In the 45th minute, Adriano Perochena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Leovigildo Landea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Dumont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isadoro Gundian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Angelino Venegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Orlín Masson fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaillane's protests and gave Orlín Masson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Orlín Masson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pullay's Nemesio Barasarte got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isadoro Gundian struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Toni Dumont didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaillane. Guaillane's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
