Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valentín Peñaranda kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentín Peñaranda in the 4th minute of play forced Club Atlético Sirio's goalkeeper Juan Alberto Pumarino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Teobaldo Ancieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rungue's Pierre Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Saso in the 11th minute of play. Juan Alberto Pumarino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentín Peñaranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Viviano Ackermann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Alberto Pumarino. Club Atlético Sirio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viviano Ackermann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, Desiderio Saso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pierre Urbano, 2-1. Eliseo Rochefort charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Rochefort the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Club Atlético Sirio got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Rochefort. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Sirio's zone, Reynaldo Cifuentes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Alberto Pumarino came out of the goal and Reynaldo Cifuentes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Octavio Larrañeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pierre Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Saso, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Enrique Mariano Angeloni fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rungue's protests and gave Enrique Mariano Angeloni a yellow card for diving instead. Enrique Mariano Angeloni kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Sirio's Adriano Herdoyza got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavio Larrañeta to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Rungue defense, Octavio Larrañeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierre Urbano. The Rungue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierre Urbano should have stopped the shot. In the 55th minute, Desiderio Saso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierre Urbano was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 61 minutes into the match, Rungue's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Saso came free, but Pierre Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Octavio Larrañeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Saso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Daniel Fenner fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Sirio's protests and gave Daniel Fenner a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Fenner hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Desiderio Saso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Sirio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Saso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Viviano Ackermann came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Rungue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viviano Ackermann couldn't finish the play. Pierre Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Saso, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Rungue's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Saso came free, but Pierre Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Saso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Urbano having to interfere. Octavio Larrañeta struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Pierre Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Sirio. In the 95th minute Desiderio Saso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Club Atlético Sirio were the better team. Club Atlético Sirio's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
