Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Huyar FC's Lester Melgarejo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Lester Melgarejo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerrillos AFC's goalkeeper Armando Mujica, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Firmín Ordoñez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cerrillos AFC's Armando Mujica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Cerrillos AFC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 18 minutes, Constancio Duñabeitia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrillos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constancio Duñabeitia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constancio Duñabeitia in the 21st minute of play forced Huyar FC's goalkeeper Xulián Abaroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Mujica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lester Melgarejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Cerrillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Zenaido Yevenez. In the 29th match minute, Huyar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Rondizzoni to maneuver through the defense. Saverio Alliende took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xulián Abaroa. Huyar FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Xulián Abaroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constancio Duñabeitia in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Carte in the 47th minute of play forced Cerrillos AFC's goalkeeper Armando Mujica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constancio Duñabeitia to strike the kick off in the second half. Rigoberto Zorrilla walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Firmín Ordoñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Juan Alberto Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saverio Alliende kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st play minute Juan Alberto Miranda came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Xulián Abaroa. 0-2. If Juan Alberto Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Alberto Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xulián Abaroa having to interfere. A collision led to Huyar FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Baltazar Anabalon hit a great ball. The supporters of Huyar FC booed when Cerrillos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Olarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Juan Alberto Miranda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xulián Abaroa, 0-3. If Lester Melgarejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cerrillos AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cerrillos AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
