After 4 played minutes Quirquilinco FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Alberto Lobillo. In the 7th play minute Bernardo Lantaño came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fermín Zenteno. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Celedonio Vildosola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Pardo was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Saturnín De Smet d`Olbecke scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Pardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alcides Sierra during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Quirquilinco FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alcides Sierra hit a great ball. The supporters of Quirquilinco FC booed when Pisagua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Solezzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igon Martinovic succeeded in the game's 18th minute to get real power on a long shot . Pisagua FC's Fermín Zenteno hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-1! 22 minutes into the match, Quirquilinco FC's Bernardo Lantaño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fermín Zenteno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernardo Lantaño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fermín Zenteno having to make a save. Alcides Sierra might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermín Zenteno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alcides Sierra ran back to his position shaking his head. Alcides Sierra was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Igon Martinovic hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celedonio Vildosola to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pisagua FC booed when Quirquilinco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Alberto Lobillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Quirquilinco FC's Mariano Pardo got control of the ball when Saturnín De Smet d`Olbecke tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Saturnín De Smet d`Olbecke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Quirquilinco FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Igon Martinovic hit a great ball. Mauro Solezzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fermín Zenteno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Lantaño in the 63rd minute of the match. Tobías Sanfuentes's late challenge caught a Quirquilinco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobías Sanfuentes helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Pisagua FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobías Sanfuentes. In the 67th minute Celedonio Vildosola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Pardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Saturnín De Smet d`Olbecke fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mariano Pardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Vildosola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saturnín De Smet d`Olbecke struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Mariano Pardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pisagua FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Vildosola in the 76th minute of play forced Quirquilinco FC's goalkeeper Mariano Pardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fermín Zenteno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcides Sierra in the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pisagua FC's Tobías Sanfuentes got a free kick in the 79th minute. Victoro Bonomelli hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Mariano Pardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Vildosola, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Pisagua FC's attack was well implemented in the 95th minute, but when Saturnín De Smet d`Olbecke was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After having played for 97 minutes, Celedonio Vildosola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pisagua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Vildosola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
